In a recent development, GTT has announced that they have received an order from Samsung Heavy Industries (SHI) for the tank design of a new 174 000 m3 LNG carrier (LNGC), on behalf of the Danish ship-owner Navigare, writes Will Owen, the Assistant Editor of LNG Industry.
About the New Tanks
The tanks of this unit will be fitted with the Mark III Flex membrane containment system. The vessel is scheduled for 1H21.
