Ship Detained Over Payment Disputes in Singapore

According to a Ship & Bunker report, an oil tanker was detained in the Southeast Asian port of Singapore, Nov 23.

The vessel detained is reported to be Dai Minh, a 47,148 deadweight tonne crude oil tanker which is controlled by Vietnamese interests, according to shipping database equasis.

What is the reason?

The reasons for the ship’s detention still remains unclear. However, it is likely that the reason for the move could be with disputes over payments for goods and services.
