Singapore Marine Fuel Sales Fall 1% On Year in November

According to Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA) data, marine fuel sales at Singapore port decreased by 1.0 % on year during November 2021, reports Manifold times.

Marine fuels sale

In total, 4.22 million metric tonnes (mt) (exact 4,221,600 mt) of various marine fuels were sold at the world’s largest bunkering port in November, a decrease from 4.26 million mt (4,262,500 mt) recorded during November 2020.

500 cSt, 380 cSt and 180 cSt deliveries

Deliveries of 500 centistokes (cSt), 380 cSt and 180 cSt grades in November 2021 (against on year) were respectively 102,800 mt (+60% from 64,100 mt), 1,089,700 mt (+9.5% from 995,100 mt), while 180 cSt product recorded no sales in November 2021 and 2020.

Low sulphur variants

Low sulphur variants of 500 cSt, 380 cSt and 180 cSt products in November 2021 (against on year) posted respectively no sales, 2.05 million mt (+0.11% from 2.04 million), 103,100 mt (-45% from 185,900 mt).

Low sulphur 100 cSt 

Low sulphur 100 cSt recorded sales of 515,900 mt (-14% from 597,900 mt) and ULSFO had no sales in November.

Low Sulphur marine gas oil (LS MGO) sales were posted at 304,900 mt (-6% from 324,500 mt) and MGO at 20,600 mt (-59% from 50,700 mt).
