Singapore Prohibits Sign-on Crew With Travel History To The UK

According to a recent PortMarine Circular from MPA, Singapore has announced that from 23 December 2020, visitors with recent travel history to the UK within the last 14 days will not be allowed entry into Singapore.

The Ministry of Health of Singapore has announced that from 23 December 2020, all long term pass holders and short term visitors with recent travel history to the UK within the last 14 days will not be allowed entry into Singapore.

In line with the above, the following crew change will not be allowed in the Port of Singapore:

  • Sign on crew with travel history to the UK within the last 14 days;
  • Sign on crew transiting the UK on their connecting flights to Singapore.

The above measure is effective from 23 December 2020, and will remain in effect until further notice.
