Proper access of RO-RO spaces
In the infographic, the club focuses on how to properly access RO-RO spaces and avoid prohibited areas.
Do’s
- In accordance with SOLAS Regulations, all firefighting and emergency equipment shall be maintained in good working order and be readily available and accessible for immediate use.
- Escape routes, stairways, emergency exits and safe exits around and on Ro-Ro Spaces and/or vehicle decks must be kept clear at all times.
Dont’s
- Do not obstruct emergency equipment on RO-RO spaces and/or vehicle decks.
- Do not obstruct escape routes on RO-RO spaces and/or vehicle decks.
- Do not obstruct safe accessways and emergency exits on RO-RO spaces and/or vehicle decks.
