Subsea 7 Subsidiary Adds Vessel in Three-year Agreement

Subsea has added a new vessel to its i-Tech Services, one of its subsidiaries. In an announcement made on 31st May, 2018, Subsea announced signing a 3-year charter agreement with MMA Offshore for acquiring its 5th vessel, the MMA Pinnacle, reports Energy Voice.

  • The company will undertake offshore inspection, repair and maintenance (IRM) and light construction activities with the newly acquired vessel.
  • Working in the Asia Pacific region, the charter agreement with MMA Offshore lasts three-years with the option of an extension.
  • The custom-built, remotely operated vehicle support vessel (ROVSV) is SPS compliant with accommodation for 100 people.
  • It is equipped with a 150 tonne Macgregor Active Heave Compensating crane mounted on a 1,000 sqm deck.
  • Equipped with a helideck, it is designed with on-board systems and infrastructure to allow longer periods on location.
  • The vessel is due for deployment from September 2018.
