Soudelor remained the strongest tropical cyclone anywhere on the planet this year. Reports say that Soudelor has weakened a bit, but it may still be a powerful tropical storm as it crosses the West Pacific. This Storm can eventually become a threat to Taiwan and eastern China later this week.
Ports in Taiwan and eastern China are still allowing ships to take bunker fuel as of Wednesday.
