On 20 September, a signing ceremony held in Guangzhou, China, for the company’s subsidiary, Huangpu Wenchong Shipbuilding Co., Ltd, in cooperation with China Shipbuilding Trading Co. Ltd (CSTC) and T.S. LINES. The contracts signed are for two 4,300 TEU containerships, and this contract is one of the first steps for Huangpu Wenchong in the medium-sized container ship market, reports iMarine.

The 4,300 TEU container ship marks Huangpu Wenchong’s strategic entry into the medium-sized container ship market. The product line is the company’s latest focus as it tries to strengthen its presence in this market sector.
