A product tanker was attacked and boarded, at around 0600 UTC Nov 7 in Gulf of Guinea, some 180 nm SE of Lome, Togo, reports Maritime Bulletin. 

What happened?

Product tanker TORM ALEXANDRA was reported to be attacked and boarded, at around 0600 UTC Nov 7 in Gulf of Guinea, some 180 nm SE of Lome, Togo, while en route from Lome Anchorage to West Africa. Her port of destination remains unspecified. 

About the tanker

As of 2100 UTC Nov 7, the tanker resumed sailing with all crew safe. According to reports,  the crew mustered in the citadel during the attack.
