A tanker got disabled in Dardanelles late Jun 25, due to mechanical failure, reports Maritime Bulletin.
What happened?
Tanker KOLIN 2 got disabled in Dardanelles late Jun 25. A mechanical failure was reported while she was transiting in the northern direction en route from Bozcaada.
At the time of incident, the tanker was reported to be near Kepez port. Upon request, tug and SAR boat responded quickly. The tanker was taken to Kepez and berthed.
