Tourist Runs Over By A Tarantula In The Death Valley

While in Death Valley, a tarantula caused an accident involving a Swiss tourist couple. Their vehicle stopped when they tried to avoid hitting the spider. A Canadian motorcyclist was injured after crashing into a van he had hit at his rear end. On October 28, this took place in the rural regions. The motorcyclist’s condition is uncertain. Park advisories were issued due to gravel roads and wildlife. However, tarantulas are native only to the US Southwest and do not kill people, or hunt but feed off prey, they move slowly and do not attack. Sometimes kept as pets, they appear as fall migrants during the breeding season.
