TFG Marine is making strides in enhancing the accuracy and transparency of marine fuel deliveries. This month, the team worked on the company’s supply vessel, the Sea Emperor, in Walvis Bay, Namibia, collaborating with industry experts to oversee the installation of advanced mass flow meter technology, reports TGF Marine.
Installation and Training
In partnership with Endress+Hauser Group, a leader in measurement and automation technology, and Metcore International Pte Ltd, TFG Marine installed and verified an ISO 22192-compliant mass flow meter on the Sea Emperor.
The crew received comprehensive training to ensure effective operation of this new technology.
Fleet Expansion
The Sea Emperor marks the 15th vessel in TFG Marine’s fleet to be equipped with this mass flow meter technology.
This upgrade ensures that customers receive the most efficient, accurate, and transparent marine fuel deliveries available, further advancing TFG Marine’s commitment to modernizing bunkering operations.
Commitment to Global Standards
TFG Marine continues to set high standards in the industry. The country stated they wished to see the exemplary marine fuel supply standards set by the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA) rolled out globally.
Currently, all bunkering barges operating in Amsterdam-Rotterdam-Antwerp (ARA) are ISO 22192-compliant, and TFG Marine aims to equip the majority of its supply fleet with this technology within the next two years.
