The Maritime Standard has officially announced the programme for the third edition of the Transportation and Climate Change Conference (TACCC), scheduled to be held on Thursday, 25th September 2025, at the Saadiyat Rotana Resort in Abu Dhabi.
Advancing Sustainable Transport Solutions
Building on the success of its previous editions, TACCC 2025 will once again bring together influential stakeholders from across the transportation industry. The event aims to identify practical strategies for achieving low-carbon, sustainable transport systems. This year’s theme, “Accelerating Sustainable Transportation: Innovation, Policy & Climate Action,” underscores the increasing urgency to align industry practices with global climate targets.
The programme has been carefully curated to deliver actionable insights into policy development, regulatory trends, technological innovation, and investment strategies—all vital to cutting emissions and enhancing environmental performance in the transport sector.
Expert Sessions & Networking Opportunities
The conference will begin with a keynote from a leading industry figure, followed by two focused sessions: one on policy, investment, and net-zero maritime transport, and another on technological innovations for decarbonised mobility.
The Net-Zero Maritime Transport session will delve into policy frameworks, green financing models, port decarbonisation strategies, and the role of alternative fuels. Speakers will also consider the broader impact of geopolitical uncertainties on investment flows and regulatory harmonisation. The session will culminate in a panel discussion featuring key stakeholders to examine collaborative efforts and challenges in reaching net-zero objectives.
The Innovations & Technology for Decarbonised Mobility session will explore the electrification of transport, digital transformation, artificial intelligence, and the development of scalable infrastructure for multimodal transport systems. Presentations will assess how these innovations can drive compliance, efficiency, and carbon reduction. A concluding panel discussion will allow experts to share practical experiences and insights from across the industry.
Each session will feature expert speakers and panel discussions, with interactive Q&A segments to engage the audience. The event will conclude with a networking reception, offering valuable opportunities for collaboration. Full speaker details will be announced soon.
