Dutch terminal company Evos has joined the international Methanol Institute (MI) as part of its strategy to be a key partner in the energy transition.

Frontrunner in the energy transition

The company already has a strong track record in the storage and handling of methanol for industrial applications. Among the companies for whom Evos performs this service are fellow MI members Helm Proman and Mitsui.

This is another example of Evos moving with developments for the energy transition, in which the application of methanol is taken forward as a clean alternative fuel, for marine transport as well as hydrogen carrier,” the company said.

It added: “Evos has the ambition to be a frontrunner in the energy transition. This partnership is an important step towards further supply chain collaboration/co-creation for new and innovative solutions,” said the company.
