Operational delay

Due to an operational delay enroute to Tanjung Pelepas, RIO NEGRO 307N is expected to encounter delays to scheduled Oceania ports on the subsequent voyage. To minimise the impact from operational disruption and prevent any further sliding on the Southern Star schedule, we wish to advise our customers that RIO NEGRO 312S/314N will omit Sydney Port.

The following contingency will apply for impacted cargoes:

  • Sydney import cargo will load RIO BLANCO 313S and B TRADER 319E.
  • Sydney export cargo will be as follows:
    • Sydney to Auckland Metroport cargo will load B TRADER 319E for direct Auckland discharge.
    • Rio Negro cargo currently booked for other Southern Star ports will be updated to load on the following sailing RIO BLANCO 315N.
