According to OSM Thome reports, Torvald Klaveness has sold 100% of Klaveness Ship Management AS to OSM Thome, a global leader in ship management. The transition, effective January 2025, allows the Klaveness Combination Carriers (KCC) to benefit from OSM Thome’s scale and expertise while retaining operational continuity.

Strategic Sale for Future Growth

The sale aims to leverage OSM Thome’s investment capacity and global resources to meet future demands. The partnership will focus on modernizing ship management using new technology and digitalization.

Preserving Expertise and Continuity

KCC will continue to have a dedicated management team under OSM Thome’s ownership. The specialized crewing pool will remain exclusively focused on KCC operations to maintain service quality.

New Opportunities for Expansion

With OSM Thome’s resources, KCC gains access to a larger technical network, enhancing fleet management. A new office will be established at the Torvald Klaveness premises in Oslo to support ongoing operations.

The agreement with OSM Thome ensures Klaveness Combination Carriers retains its operational excellence while benefiting from enhanced resources and technical expertise, enabling future-oriented solutions for sustainable growth.
