Two ships one on the Caspian sea and another on the Bosphorous meet with an accident, says an article published in Maritime Bulletin.

Ship aground on Volga

Geo research ship IKRYANINSKIY with 49 crew and scientific personnel on board ran aground on 120-kilometer mark in the Volga – Caspian Sea Channel, while proceeding to Astrakhan, Volga. As of 1310 UTC Sep 11, she was still aground, says an article published in maNo breaches, to leak reported. Not clear if traffic is affected or remains open.

General cargo ship DUNE 2, Bosphorus

General cargo ship DUNE 2 suffered engine failure in the morning of Sep 11, while transiting Bosphorus in the northern direction en route from Izmir Turkey to Rostov, Azov sea, Russia. The ship was taken to Buyukdere anchorage, Bosphorus, Istanbul. As of 1310 UTC Sep 11, DUNE 2 was still at anchor.
