U-Ming Orders Two Additional Bulk Carriers

On August 31, U-Ming Marine Transport announced plans to place an order for two more 63,000 dwt bulk carriers at New Dayang Shipbuilding. The total order value was set at US$68 million. 

Vessel delivery

Before the year is over, U-Ming will get 5 Capesize bulk ships and 2 wind power vessels. Four 63,000 dwt bulk carriers will be delivered after the delivery of three Capesize bulk carriers, two Post panamax bulk carriers, and one concrete ship in the upcoming year.

Under construction 

According to U-executives, M’s fleet totals 55 ships, with the oldest being 10 years old. The business will run a fleet of 74 ships after the 17 new ships now under construction are added. The percentage of energy-saving ships will rise to 80% in order to comply with the new environmental rules.
