On December 11, two container ships reportedly collided with each other one of them being an Ultra Large container ship.

What happened?

One Ultra Large container reportedly collided with another container vessel. The container ship belonging to OOCL was proceeding towards the berth and collided with the Ultra Large container vessel.

Both the vessels, were damaged during the collision and were damaged on the portside while its terminal crane was also damaged.

ULCS left port according to schedule, shortly after leaving the giant ship ran out, started to drift, turned back and sailed to inner anchorage, where she was brought to anchor.
