General cargo vessel Ocean Freedom allided with already docked at Kiel-Holtenau Lock general cargo vessel Emma in the evening June 25.
What happened?
Ocean Freedom’s stern crane contacted with antenna on Emma’s upper bridge, knocking it down, Emma probably suffered portside damages, too. Lock was closed for about an hour.
Freighter docked for repairs:
Emma, which was en route to Sweden, said to be docked for repairs at Friedrichsort, Kiel Bay. Ocean Freedom resumed sailing and on June 26 arrived at Fredericia port, Denmark.
