The Vietnam Coastguard arrested an unmarked vessel, on Saturday (18 September), in the sea area of Hai Phong-Quang Ninh at around 12:30 pm, reports Manifold Times.
Vessel arrested for illegal oil transport
An initial inspection found the ship to be carrying 15,000 litres of oil, with the captain and crew failing to present required documents proving the origin of the goods.
The Vietnam Coastguard took an initial record of the incident and carried out procedures in accordance with the law.
