CNC and COSCO have formalized a vessel-sharing agreement for CNC’s China Philippines 8 (CP8) service, reports CNC.
Service Details: Service Description
The CP8 service by CNC provides a direct and efficient connection between key Chinese ports and Manila, Philippines.
Key Ports
The service encompasses ports such as Fuqing, Shanghai, Ningbo, and Xiamen in China, with destinations including Manila North and Manila South in the Philippines.
Convenience
The CP8 service offers weekend cut-off at Shanghai and Ningbo, ensuring timely delivery of shipments during weekdays.
Service Rotation
The weekly service follows a fixed rotation schedule: Fuqing – Shanghai – Ningbo – Xiamen – Manila North – Manila South – Fuqing.
Vessel Sharing Agreement Details: Vessels Involved
The agreement involves the utilization of two vessels, each with a capacity of 2,800 TEUs.
Operational Responsibility
CNC will operate one of the vessels involved in the CP8 service.
Effective Voyage
The agreement will commence with the vessel named COLOMBO, with an estimated time of arrival (ETA) in Shanghai on 13 April 2024.
