Gulf of America Logistics (GOAL), a newly launched logistics provider, has officially begun operations in Bossier City, Louisiana. Established by U.S. Navy veteran Brent Patterson, the company is entering the market at a crucial time—when investment in large-scale energy, infrastructure, and industrial projects across the Gulf Coast is accelerating at an unprecedented pace.

GOAL is uniquely positioned to address this growth by offering specialized logistics solutions tailored to complex, capital-heavy sectors such as LNG, petrochemicals, power generation, and infrastructure development. The company’s launch reflects a strategic response to growing regional demand for reliable, local, and veteran-led logistics services.

Rooted in Experience, Designed for Complexity

At the core of GOAL’s mission is the belief that logistics in the Gulf Coast require not just technical precision but also deep regional insight. Founder and Managing Partner Brent Patterson brings both, having previously served as a senior executive at Blue Water Shipping and built his expertise in logistics during his tenure in the U.S. Navy. His leadership is backed by a team of industry veterans with decades of experience navigating the Gulf’s challenging physical and regulatory environment.

“Our team understands this region from the inside out,” said Patterson. “From levee systems to hurricane preparedness, and from permits to transport infrastructure, we know what it takes to get things done here. That’s not something you can outsource.”

Comprehensive Logistics Services with Local Strength and Global Reach

GOAL offers a full suite of project logistics services. These include transportation engineering, route feasibility assessments, inland and coastal barging, rail and road transportation, vessel chartering, customs clearance, and HSSEQ (health, safety, security, environment, and quality) support. While its core market is the U.S. Gulf Coast, GOAL also connects to a wider international third-party logistics (3PL) network to provide multimodal solutions for global clients.

Leadership with Deep Roots and Diverse Expertise

GOAL’s leadership team includes notable names from the logistics and business community. Joining Patterson is Rock Bordelon, CEO of Allegiance Health Management and a prominent Louisiana entrepreneur, who comes aboard as a partner. Chuck Paddock, a former executive at Ceres Barge Line, contributes significant expertise in inland waterway logistics and steel cargo management. Meanwhile, Keith Lincoln, the company’s Vice President of Operations and a former director at Bertling Logistics, adds more than 20 years of experience in managing international project logistics. Together, this team brings an unmatched mix of forwarding, trucking, barging, rail, and EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) project experience.

Investing in Infrastructure and America’s Industrial Future

As part of its expansion strategy, GOAL is securing a port facility in Cameron Parish and has finalized an exclusive agreement to provide asset-based trucking services across the Gulf Coast. These developments reflect the company’s commitment to building logistics capacity from the ground up—ensuring timely, flexible, and resilient service delivery for capital project developers and EPC contractors.

Patterson notes that the company’s long-term vision is closely aligned with national priorities. “There’s a strong push to keep critical logistics work—and the jobs it creates—within the United States. We’re proud to be part of that effort. Our goal is to defragment the supply chain, reduce risks for project owners, and create meaningful local economic impact.”

A Mission-Driven Approach to Logistics Excellence

Gulf of America Logistics is more than a service provider—it’s a mission-driven company bringing integrity, experience, and local commitment to one of America’s most strategically important regions. As the Gulf Coast prepares to accommodate an influx of infrastructure investment, GOAL stands ready to deliver smart, scalable logistics solutions—by Americans, for America.
