Wah Kwong Maritime Transport Holdings Limited has announced a strategic collaboration with CIMC Enric Holdings Limited (3899.HK) to drive green methanol applications, logistics, and bunkering services across the Greater Bay Area (GBA) and Asia.

The agreement, signed in Shenzhen on February 26, marks a significant step toward low-carbon shipping solutions by integrating renewable methanol production, storage, transportation, and bunkering into a comprehensive commercial model.

Key Objectives of the Partnership

  • CIMC Enric will provide clean energy production and supply chain expertise to ensure a steady supply of renewable methanol.
  • Wah Kwong Maritime will oversee safe fuel delivery and bunkering operations, leveraging its maritime logistics experience.
  • The companies will collaborate with industry stakeholders to launch a pilot green methanol bunkering project in the GBA.
