Kwong Maritime Transport officially enters the LNG shipping Market

At the same time, this order also represents that Wah Kwong Maritime Transport officially entered the LNG shipping Market.

Wah Kwong stated that this cooperation will give full play to the core advantages of the partners in their respective fields, and through joint efforts, provide customers with safe and efficient LNG transportation services and contribute to the country’s energy transformation.

This type of ship is independently developed by DSIC, with a total cargo capacity of 175,000 m3. It adopts Mark III Flex cargo containment system of GTT and has 4 cargo tanks. The liquid cargo system is only used for LNG cargo transportation, and is equipped with reliquefaction system at the same time.

This project installs two WinGD LNG dual-fuel low-speed main engines and integrates the iCER system. While reducing fuel and gas consumption, both fuel and gas modes can meet the most stringent emission standards of IMO.

This batch of orders will be built at DSIC. As of now, DSIC has more than 10 orders for LNG carriers.
