Wallem Ship Management company has welcomed its maiden vessel flying under the Japanese flag.

The Pure Car & Truck Carrier (PCTC) christened as ‘The Aphrodite Leader’ is the first vessel under Wallem Ship Management to come under the Japanese Flag.
The carrier has completed various inspections, audits, and surveys in accordance with the Japanese Flag requirements. The vessel is touted to officially be changed over to Japanese Flag upon receipt of the statutory certificates from the Japanese Government and Class NK.
New milestone
This move marks a positive milestone as Wallem is now one of just a few international ship managers capable of managing Japanese Flag vessels. It is a clear testament to their strong safety culture, commitment to quality and efficient operations.
