Wallenius Wilhelmsen has reinforced its collaboration with an established auto OEM through a 10-year contract extension, marking a significant step in their long-standing relationship. This agreement reflects both companies’ commitment to expanding their partnership and developing innovative supply chain solutions.

Under this contract, Wallenius Wilhelmsen will continue delivering a wide range of services, including vehicle receiving, end-of-line services, accessory installation, delivery management, distribution, and storage. Additionally, the company will provide digital supply chain insights, ensuring a more efficient and transparent logistics process.

Wallenius Wilhelmsen also offers short-sea and deep-sea ocean services under separate agreements, further strengthening its role in global vehicle logistics.

Optimizing the Supply Chain with Digital Innovation

The partnership is set to evolve with a strong emphasis on efficiency and digital transformation. Both parties plan to explore new, optimized solutions that will further streamline operations and enhance flexibility.

Looking ahead, the shared goal is to expand the contract’s scope to include ocean services, creating a fully integrated logistics strategy. This approach will prioritize process optimization and advanced digital solutions to enhance supply chain resilience and efficiency.

A Major Milestone for Wallenius Wilhelmsen

With an estimated gross revenue of USD 2 billion, this contract is one of Wallenius Wilhelmsen’s largest land-based agreements. The company is excited to further strengthen its integration and digitalization efforts within this partnership.
