From November 1st, 2015 Roger Holm will lead as the President of Marine Solution Group of Wärtsilä. He has also been elected as the Executive Vice President and a member of Management Committee of Wärtsilä Corporation.
The 43-year-old Mr. Holm has been with the group since 1997. In his 18 years tenure, he has held various responsible posts including, leading the Engines division and R&D for marine and energy markets. He has also held leading posts in the Seals & Bearings department, the Solutions Management and Business Development division as well as being CIO for Wärtsilä Corporation.
In the new role as President, he will report to President & CEO Mr Jaakko Eskola. Mr. Eskola is quoted to have said, “I am very pleased to have Roger follow me as the President of Marine Solutions. He has a passion for quality and he deeply understands the customer demands. Over the years, Roger has demonstrated strong leadership in his many challenging positions.
