[Watch] Car Carrier Master Medevaced by Helicopter

A car carrier requested urgent medical assistance to the ship’s Master on Dec 7, Mexico, Pacific, reports Maritime Bulletin. 

What happened?

Car carrier TARAGO requested urgent medical assistance for it’s Master, who was suffering from severe chest pain and gastritis, on Dec 7, off Cabo San Lucas, Baja California peninsula, Mexico, Pacific. 

The 48-year old Norwegian Captain was medevaced by helicopter and transferred to hospital. 

Voyage resumed

TARAGO resumed her voyage, en route from Long Beach to Balboa Panama.
