A Cargo ship crashed into the Xuhui riverside waterfront terrace when passing Longhua Bend on Wednesday due to tidal influence, reports Shine News.
What happened?
Cargo ship while proceeding upstream in Huangpu river near scenic waterside Bund, Shanghai, on Sep 22 at 8:18pm, went out of control and struck the embankment, scaring people who’ve been taking a walk along picturesque riverside.
There were no casualties in the accident, with no leakage found from the ship. Embankment sustained serious damages, the ship no doubt, also sustained bow and starboard side hull damages.
She continued sailing and later berthed in Xuhui area, Shanghai.
