The Convention on the International Regulations for Preventing Collisions at Sea (COLREGs) states that every vessel shall always maintain a proper lookout by sight and hearing as well as by all available means appropriate. Make a Good Catch by ensuring that lookouts undertake no other assignments or duties that interfere with that task.
