A new video circulating online shows an alleged attack on a containership in the Red Sea using an Uncrewed Surface Vessel (USV) seemingly loaded with explosives, reports Marine Insight.
The USV was subsequently destroyed after the vessel’s embarked armed security team returned fire on the vessel, causing it to explode just off the stern.
Houthis spokesperson claimed the group targeted the vessel in the Red Sea on July 20, describing the vessel as an “American ship.”
