Padmini has over 8 years of experience in the field of engineering, with a focus on cryogenic and compressed fuel systems and their application in decarbonising maritime transportation. She is a lead technical specialist at Lloyd’s Register, working on hydrogen and other alternative fuels for decarbonising maritime transportation. Her experience includes working as an Engineering Scientist at Indian Space Research Organisation, involved in cryogenic propellant ground systems and liquid stage preparation for the space program, CAE analyst at Tata Technologies, performing structural analysis on prototype vehicles and she also holds a Bachelor’s degree (Hons.) in Mechanical Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, India.
