Fire erupted onboard a cruise ship, berthed at Kerkira, Corfu, Greece, in the afternoon Mar 12, reports Maritime Bulletin.
Raging fire
Fire seems to be raging starboard on a lifeboat deck, one of the lifeboats seemingly engulfed in fire.
According to reports, there’s a lot of thick black smoke billowing from the fire zone.
Efforts to control fire
Firefighting is underway and no injuries were reported.
The ship’s in a lay-up since Jan 2021, with only 50 maintenance crew on board.
