[Watch] Strong Winds Cause Ship to Crash into Pier

1829

Strong winds have forced a passenger ship to smash into a pier in the UK.

As the Ben-my Chree arrived at King Edward VIII pier at the Isle of Man and prepared to dock at 6.10pm local time, strong wind gusts hampered the ship’s berthing attempt.

Footage of the ship crashing into the pier was filmed by passenger Jason Cheetham, who provided running commentary along with his friends as the spectacle occurred.

“Flippin’ heck,” one of the men can be heard saying, as water spills onto the ship.  “I did not expect us to hit that.”

“Carnage, carnage,” another man can be heard yelling. “Unbelievable.”

Luckily, nobody on the ship was injured in the accident, according to the Report.
