On Aug 21, 2018, at 9.30 a.m. the “Somtrans XV”, ran aground between groynes on the Rhine at Millingen. The ship got stuck near a bunker station on the left river shore. It was enroute from Tolkamer to Pernis.
After it was refloated again, it berthed in Tuindorp at noon and continued its voyage after inspections at 4.40 p.m. with an ETA at Pernis as of 9 p.m.
