[Watch] The Largest Cruise Ship At Sea Trials

4629

The Harmony of the Seas, the world’s largest cruise ship, has left the construction site for sea trials.  Can you guess the length of the ship?

It is 361m – almost 100m longer than the Titanic, and beats the Queen Elizabeth (314m) and the Queen Mary 2 (345m).  The best part is if you stand on its end it would be taller than the Eiffel Tower – not that this is recommended as the ship weighs 227,000 tonnes.

The ship will sail a short trip to Belle-Ile and the Ile d’Yeu before returning to Saint-Nazaire on Sunday morning.  A second set of tests will be carried out in April.
