Norwegian Escape, the 164,600-ton vessel, will be the largest ship in the Norwegian Cruise Line Fleet. Since September 2014, the vessel was under construction in Meyer Werft, Papenburg, Germany. The vessel was floated out on August 15, 2015, at the covered building dock II at Meyer Werft.

- Norwegian Escape is the first ship in the line’s Breakaway Plus Class.
- The vessel is 1,098 feet long.
- The vessel is 136 feet wide.
- The delivery of the vessel will be on October 22, 2015.
