Virgin Galactic’s owner and CEO Richard Branson made a successful launch into space aboard the VSS Unity, reports KTIV.
After a brief delay due to high ground winds near the launch runway, the spaceplane with Virgin Group’s founder aboard reached space and returned to Earth safely.
Branson was the first billionaire launched into space this month, nine days ahead of Jeff Bezos, who is set to launch on July 20.
