Innovative Design by Conoship International
The CIP3800 design, developed by Conoship International, emphasizes a strong focus on energy efficiency, operational flexibility, and environmental sustainability, making it well-suited for the evolving demands of eco-friendly maritime transport.
Equipped with diesel-electric propulsion and designed to accommodate wind-assisted propulsion systems, WILSON ECO I is built with the future in mind.
Exceeding IMO Environmental Standards
The vessel achieves 30% lower emissions than the IMO’s Energy Efficiency Design Index (EEDI) requirement for 2025, significantly reducing its greenhouse gas emissions per cargo unit.
Quote: “It’s an important improvement – and a step in the right direction as we work towards lower-emission maritime operations.”
Looking Ahead: Expanding Green Capacity
Wilson ASA’s ECO program includes six 3,800 DWT vessels and eight 6,300 DWT vessels, with deliveries scheduled between 2025 and 2028, underscoring the company’s long-term commitment to greener shipping solutions.
Through this program, Wilson ASA is not only enhancing its cargo capacity but also reinforcing its commitment to a more sustainable maritime industry.
