On March 27, a worker was found dead in the cargo hold of a vessel and was removed from the vessel when it arrived at the Port of Houston.
What happened?
The authorities are investigating the mysterious death of a worker onboard the cargo vessel. The body of the worker was extracted from the vessel when it arrived at the Port of Houston.
Investigation launched
The Houston fire department and Harris County Medical Examiner’s Office extracted the body of the worker from the cargo hold of the vessel and have sent it to the coroner to determine the possible cause of death.
It is still unclear how the worker ended up in the cargo hold of the vessel. The identity of the worker has not been released.
