The Transporter, a converted A-Class Crew Transfer Vessel (CTV), is a groundbreaking vessel developed by Northern Offshore Services, a subsidiary of the NYK company, Northern Offshore Group. The vessel is powered by a methanol engine and will only use bio-methanol, which is made from sustainable biomass, to reduce emissions. It can carry up to 24 crew members, as reported by Seatrade Maritime News.
