The world’s largest ethane carrier was delivered to UK firm Ineos this week by Jiangnan Shipyard, located just north of Shanghai as reported by Splash247.

Jiangnan Shipyard, located just north of Shanghai, has this week delivered the world’s largest ethane carrier to UK firm Ineos.
The Pacific Ineos Belstaff, a 60,000-dwt ethane carrier, can transport 99,000 cubic metres of liquid gas.
The ship has a huge B-type tank and a shipyard-developed gas containment system that can handle a range of liquified gas cargos, including LPG, ethylene, and ethane.
Three more 99,000 cu m VLECs are being built by Jiangnan Shipbuilding and will be delivered in 2022.
