On November 7, the listed company Yangzijiang Shipbuilding (Holdings) Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Yangzijiang Shipbuilding”) announced its operating results for the third quarter of 2024, reports imarinenews.
As of November 7, Yangzijiang Shipbuilding has received orders for 98 new vessels this year, with a value of US$11.64 billion, completing 259% of its annual order target. Of these new orders, 84% are for clean energy vessels, including 16 gas carriers, 32 LNG dual-fuel vessels and 17 methanol dual-fuel vessels.
Vessel types
It is understood that Yangzijiang Shipbuilding currently hand held orders for 224 vessels worth US$22.14 billion. The vessel types are diverse, including 95 container ships, 38 bulk carriers, 27 gas carriers.
