Yara Marine is inviting technology startups to apply for the second round of its Yara Marine X startup accelerator programme, says an article published in Seatrade Maritime News.

Yara Marine will choose 10 applicants to attend an event in March where the startups can pitch their business models to industry experts and receive feedback.

Intensive boot camp

Successful applicants at the event will be invited to a two-week intensive boot camp and receive a tailored three-month accelerator programme based on the startup’s needs.

Support offered could include competency guidance, mentorship, the chance to work hands-on alongside the Yara Marine X team, facilitation of partnership opportunities, possible investments, and a collaborative future with Yara Marine and its network.

Saving the planet for future

“Even with the proliferation of cutting-edge clean technologies being proposed and tested, the needs of the industry are likely to outweigh the timeline, financial capital, production capacity, and/ or market availability for recent technology startups. It is therefore crucial that those of us with experience in this process act as hubs to facilitate rapid development and entry to the market,” said Per Bjärkby, Chief Technology Officer of Yara Marine Technologies.

Thomas Koniordos, CEO of Yara Marine Technologies said: “Accelerating the timeline for the development and market entry process for viable green technologies can help address emissions and the effects of climate change. We must act now to find workable solutions for different users and markets if we intend to save our planet and leave it healthier for future generations.”

  1. A startup will work successfully only if your product meets the actual needs of the population. By the way, dietary supplements are needed more than ever during a pandemic. In addition, you have a great opportunity to make a diverse product line with Private Label supplements.
