ZIM has joined the Move to -15 coalition, a cross-industry initiative focused on reducing emissions in the cold chain sector. The coalition will raise the standard temperature for frozen cargo from -18°C to -15°C, reports Container News.
Impact of the Initiative
This small change can potentially prevent around 17.7 million metric tons of CO₂ emissions annually, according to ZIM, the Israeli shipping company.
