On 11th September 2015, a 59-year-old woman passenger who was aboard the Seabourn Quest, a ten-day cruise from Boston to Montreal, fell overboard from the ship.
The Coastguard received a call at 7 p.m following the incident that happened within three hours from departure. Rockport Harbormaster officials along with the emergency medical service personnel onboard the 24- foot Boston Whaler searched the waters and recovered the body at 8.30 p.m. The body was found 10 miles off Cape Ann.
Federal Bureau of Investigation will conduct an autopsy and continue the investigation process.
