Teco 2030 Asa and Gen2 Energy have signed an MoU to cooperate on projects where green hydrogen is needed for fuel cells, says an article published on h2 bulletin website.

Create a world-class maritime hydrogen infrastructure

Both parties jointly commit to investigating the supply of green hydrogen from Gen2 Energy for relevant projects where customers need hydrogen and power conversion through fuel cells in ports, offshore fish farms, or other heavy-duty customers.

Gen2 Energy will also involve Teco 2030 Marine Fuel Cells in Gen2 Energy’s seaborn value chain, allowing hydrogen to be transported onboard vessels powered by hydrogen fuel cells.

The parties intend to work together for soft funding regarding maritime hydrogen applications and develop a complete hydrogen value chain through the “Hydrogen Hub Nordland” project. They will also work to develop and establish a functional and effective value chain for the hydrogen industry in northern Norway and enable zero-emission sailing along the Norwegian coastline.

Tore Enger, CEO of Teco 2030 Group, said, “Together, we can create a world-class maritime and heavy-duty hydrogen infrastructure foundation to build our zero-emission future upon.”

Jonas Meyer, CEO of Gen2 Energy, added, “Together, we aim to reduce emissions in the maritime- and heavy-duty sector by making green hydrogen accessible and easy to adapt for our customers.”

First Hydrogen and NetZeroH2

First Hydrogen Corp. has established a new wholly-owned subsidiary NetzeroH2 Inc. for the design, production and roll-out of hydrogen refuelling stations providing hydrogen distribution for the automotive market.

The refuelling stations will be designed and developed in conjunction with FEV Consulting GmbH expertise with the technical capabilities and know-how of the FEV Group.

Both partners signed the agreement to design and manufacture a prototype bespoke hydrogen refuelling station for the hydrogen mobility market in November last year.
