Nisshin Shipping took delivery of the world’s biggest dual-fuel parcel chemical tanker in April known as the MT Gold Trader. The vessels are being built at Nantong Xiangyu shipyard in China.
The vessels have a capacity of 33,000 DWT. The vessel along with the five other vessels in the new building project all feature X-DF engines from WinGD.
They include two 19,900 DWT and four 33,000 DWT tankers. It also performs technical management for a fleet of 12 dual-fuel vessels and has another 14 on order.
