A cargo vessel collided with a passenger boat carrying an engagement party on board, in Egypt’s River Nile.
The crash happened when the party boat of a young couple, who had hired the boat for an engagement party, were sailing north of Cairo. The captain of the cargo boat has been arrested.
It is reported that 5 people were rescued from this boat crash while 15 people were found to be dead and six still missing.
Traffic had been heavy along the Nile because of Ramadan celebrations.
